Rabac and its surroundings offer many lovely places that can be reached almost exclusively by boat.

One of the ideas for visiting the surrounding towns is the island of Cres. Cres, in addition to being culturally rich, offers endless natural beauty. One of them is the Blue Grotto.

Plava Grota is located in the bay of Žanje, at the foot of the town of Lubenice on the island of Cres. Plava Grota is a sea cave located on the edge of the beach in the rock and has two entrances.

The larger entrance is a little further from the beach, but you can enter it by swimming or using a sandolin. The cave is about 20 meters long and has a large air space. Inside the cave is a small pebble beach. Another narrow entrance is located at a depth of several meters and can be entered by diving. The light that makes this cave special comes through the cracks in the rocks.

Next to the Blue Grotto is a small pebble beach, which is the right place for sunbathing and enjoying the joys of summer.

Boat driving licence is required. In case you don't have one, rent a boat with a skipper.
