Fažana was already known for fishing during the Roman times, as well as for olive and vineyard growing. Oil and wine were transported in amphorae at that time, so a workshop for the production of these ancient vessels was opened in Fažana at the beginning of the 1st century. Near Fažana, you can visit the Brijuni National Park, a rich natural and archaeological complex of islands, with remains dating back to the 14th century. Riding the train through Veliki Brijun will delight you with its sights and the Ethno and Safari park. It is possible to play golf and ride electric vehicles on the island.

Boat driving licence is required. In case you don't have one, rent a boat with a skipper.

The deposit is 300 €, which you pay upon taking the boat and will be refunded upon return.
