Description
Vrsar is a small town with about 3,000 inhabitants. It is located on the west coast of Istria, at the very entrance to the Lim Bay.
It is a place with a magical view of the sea and has been inhabited since ancient times. The town has always been an important center of fishing and trade, but only in 1852 did Vrsar become an independent municipality.
The coast in front of Vrsar, together with the Brijuni Islands, is considered the most developed part of the Istrian coast. Eighteen local islands and islets, the Vrsar pier, numerous bays and coves, as well as the Gulf of Lim, as the southernmost part of the municipal area, contribute to the development of the coast.
Explore the islands, islets and the Lim Bay, a nature reserve, the bay extends 12.8 km into the mainland. Relax in the beauty of nature.
